1. About KnocklyHQ

KnocklyHQ provides website lead capture services to UK independent businesses. By using our service or website you agree to these terms. These terms apply to all plans, add-ons, and services offered by KnocklyHQ now or in the future unless separate terms are issued.

2. The service

KnocklyHQ installs and configures a lead capture widget on your website. The widget captures visitor enquiries and delivers them to your nominated email address in real time. The service includes initial setup, configuration to your business, ongoing hosting of the widget, and support during your subscription.

We may offer additional features, add-ons, or plans from time to time. These are governed by these terms unless otherwise stated at the point of purchase.

3. Subscription and payment

3a. 30-day lead guarantee

If your widget captures zero enquiries in the first 30 days from your go-live date, you may cancel your subscription with no further monthly charge. The one-off setup fee remains non-refundable.

This guarantee does not apply to promotional or founding client pricing. Where a client has received a discounted rate, bundled add-ons, or any promotional offer at the time of signup, the standard 30-day lead guarantee is not included. The promotional price is the offer. This will be made clear at the point of purchase.

Where the guarantee does apply, it covers websites receiving a minimum of 200 unique visitors per month at the time of setup. Where traffic is below this threshold, we will advise you before go-live and the guarantee will not apply.

To claim, contact us in writing at support@knocklyhq.co.uk within 7 days of the 30-day period ending. We will verify lead capture activity and process the cancellation within 5 working days.

This guarantee applies to the first subscription period only and does not apply to renewals, upgrades, or plan changes. It does not apply where zero leads are attributable to factors outside our reasonable control including low website traffic, incorrect access credentials, or client-side configuration changes made after go-live.

The 30-day lead guarantee does not apply to the Founding Client Promotional Plan described in clause 3b.

4. Setup and access

To install the widget you must provide KnocklyHQ with access to your website's content management system or hosting environment. You are responsible for providing accurate, working, and timely access credentials. KnocklyHQ cannot be held responsible for delays caused by late, incorrect, or revoked access.

Most setups are completed within 24 hours after access is provided. This is a target, not a guaranteed timeframe, and may vary depending on platform and complexity.

5. Add-ons

Add-ons are optional features available in addition to your base plan. They are charged monthly alongside your subscription at the rate in effect at the time of activation. Add-ons can be added or removed on 30 days' notice unless otherwise agreed. Add-ons requiring third-party services (such as SMS delivery) may carry additional costs outside KnocklyHQ's control.

6. Your responsibilities

7. Intellectual property

All software, systems, templates, configurations, and technology used to deliver the KnocklyHQ service remain the intellectual property of KnocklyHQ. Your subscription grants you a licence to use the service for its intended purpose during the term of your agreement. This licence ends when your subscription ends.

You retain ownership of all data and content on your own website. KnocklyHQ does not claim any rights over your business name, branding, or customer data.

8. Data and privacy

Lead data captured through your widget is delivered to your nominated inbox via our form provider. KnocklyHQ does not retain your customers' personal data beyond what is necessary to deliver the service. See our Privacy Policy for full details of how we handle data.

By using our service you confirm that you have appropriate privacy notices in place on your website informing visitors that their details may be captured and used to follow up their enquiry.

9. Communications

By entering into a service agreement with KnocklyHQ you agree to receive service-related communications including setup instructions, billing notifications, and support messages. These are necessary to deliver the service and cannot be opted out of while your subscription is active.

We may also contact you from time to time with information about new features, plans, add-ons, or services we believe may be relevant to your business. These communications are based on our legitimate interest in maintaining a business relationship with you. You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time by emailing support@knocklyhq.co.uk.

10. Third-party services

KnocklyHQ uses a number of third-party tools and platforms to deliver its service, including but not limited to form providers, SMS gateways, automation tools, and analytics platforms. We select these providers carefully and require them to handle any data in accordance with applicable law.

We may introduce, change, or remove third-party providers as part of our normal operations. Where a change materially affects your service or data handling, we will notify you in advance.

KnocklyHQ is not responsible for the performance, availability, or data practices of third-party providers beyond our reasonable control.

11. Future services and referral programmes

KnocklyHQ may introduce new plans, products, or services in the future. We may also introduce referral or affiliate programmes that allow clients or partners to earn benefits for recommending KnocklyHQ. Details of any such programmes will be published separately and are subject to their own terms at the time of launch.

Nothing in these terms prevents KnocklyHQ from developing, launching, or commercially operating new services, including services that complement or build upon the lead capture platform.

12. Limitation of liability

KnocklyHQ will use reasonable care and skill in providing the service. However, we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific number of leads will be captured.

We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunity, or loss of data resulting from service downtime, technical issues, or events beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees paid to us in that period.

13. Cancellation

To cancel your subscription, contact us at support@knocklyhq.co.uk with 30 days' written notice. Cancellations are only valid after the initial 3-month minimum period has elapsed. Requests to cancel before that period will not be accepted except under the terms of clause 3a.

On cancellation, your widget will be deactivated and removed from your website within 5 working days of the cancellation date. No further charges will be made after the final billing period ends.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time as our business evolves. We will notify active clients of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
